Jyoti Adya

Director

Jyoti is the Founding Member & Executive Director of Lajja Foundation. She has a work experience of over 20 years as a grassroot worker, trainer, implementer and a leader. She has also written and published many articles on women’s rights and has been the recipient of multiple awards.

Anoushka Adya

Director

Anoushka is a Feminist at heart, an Entrepreneur, a TEDx Speaker, a marketeer, a Social Entrepreneur and a believer in the indispensability of hard work. She is a graduate from Warwick Business School and St Xavier's College, Mumbai. She is the Founding Member & Executive Director of Lajja Foundation, a social enterprise that supports resource poor women to gain “Livelihoods with dignity”. She has been involved in various development initiatives in India and is involved in creating and implementing programs for Lajja at the ground level. She has also written and published many articles on women’s rights and has been the recipient of multiple awards including Top 30 Under 30, Change Maker of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, to name a few. She has also been a guest speaker at IIM Rohtak, IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhi on several occasions. She is a known entrepreneur with two successful start-up businesses – Lajja Diaries, a platform for women to voice their experience with abuse and Di-Mentions Studio, a digital marketing agency. She is driven to contribute greatly to the business world as well as to the social treatment of women.
